Hjelholts uldspinderi is a wool mill producing knitting yarns and carded wools for felting.

 

The mill was established in 1878 by Mr. Lorenz Hjelholt, the great grand father of the present owner mr. Henrik Hjelholt.

 

At that time the mill was producing knitting yarns in very small quantities for the local farmers.

 

Today, the owners Henrik and his wife Conny Hjelholt are in charge of the buisness being the forth generation of the Hjelholt family.

 

In addition to the owners the labour force at the mill now counts 4-5 full time employees.

 

Over the years  business has changed from being very local to producing and selling to costumers all over Denmark, and in recent years, also to costumers outside Denmark.

 

Even though buisness has changed, one thing still remains the same:
